Was worried about this place at first due to reviews I read, but this place was amazing! Great room with a kitchenette, comfy bed, full sized fridge, desk w/pullout table, decent sized closet. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Place was very clean, pretty quiet, although there is some highway noise. Shower was nice but poorly designed. It will definitely get the floor wet. In my opinion, not sure how this place got some poor reviews. Mustve just been a bad day for them but I'd definitely stay here again. Looking forward to it actually! I will say I was disappointed in the pricing, which I knew was because of the college game (Baylor vs. UT).

It’s always a pleasure when you’re traveling and you stay at a hotel with exemplary service. Loretta at the front desk was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for us. I cannot say enough things about her and our stay. We booked 2 suites and they were clean with comfy beds. Our son is starting college in Waco so we’ll be out here quite a bit and this is where we’ll be staying every time. Close to the college, food, shopping. Steakhouse that shares the same parking lot was good too. Loretta, we’ll see you soon. ;)

The best Thanksgiving stop! Spacious rooms with an AMAZING breakfast selection!!! As you come in you'll notice you have to buzz in to reach the lobby after a certain time. Super Safe, Super Clean, Super Professional

The location is the ONLY good thing about this place. Would give negative stars if I could. Run as fast as you can from this place!!! Don't stay here. Rooms are infested with roaches!!! Our room smelled like something died in the kitchen and the bedroom smelled like urine. Dishes are put up dirty and customer service is horrible!!!! We were told to find the cleaning person ourselves to get a dish rag! Really???? The shower curtain was nasty as well. No towels at the pool even though there was supposed to be. There was a broken nightstand where the drawer wouldn't push in, so I had to pull it out, so we wouldn't kick it and hurt ourselves. Someone should be paid to stay here and not be charged. Fyi.. management said I'd be refunded and never have been. So, besides the above comments they don't care if they lie to you, so you won't put a bad review on the Marriott site for them.

The attentive and friendly front staff. The AC wasn't working on the first night and they offered to change the room immediately. They ended up changing the AC unit so we didn't have to change rooms. Breakfast was great and had a nice variety of options.

WARNING bed bugs. I was there on Thursday oct-19-23. I got a lot of bits next day on my hand a the back. The hotel was nice as service and stuff.

When we arrived and checked in, a woman from housekeeping was "doing a final check of the room" after supposedly being cleaned. I'm not sure what she was even doing in here besides watching tv. When we walked in the bathroom, we had hair that was possibly from genitals and other body hair altogether. It was all over the toilet seat, shower, towel, and bathroom floor. Absolutely disgusting. We checked the beds, and the sheets looked like at least they had been changed and smelled of bleach (thank goodness). But when we returned in the evening from sightseeing there was a large group sitting at on the front patio using outdoor grill smoking Marijuana and having their children run in and out of the hotel grabbing items from the concession area and making a huge mess. The front desk staff was on his cell phone the entire time playing loud videos with profanity and other noises playing. Overall, this hotel is not something I would ever recommend to someone coming to Waco. We will never return and are highly highly disgusted and disappointed.

So I have been staying at Marriott hotels for more than 7 years now and have never had such a bad experience with the staff. My wife was staying with the kids just overnight so that my daughter didn't have to make a long morning drive to McLennan CC to take her ACTs. My wife had left my 2 boys in the room and had requested a late check out. My wife got back to the hotel at 1:45 pm to find that the house keeping staff had kicked my 2 boys out of the room and then charged me a $100 baggage fee at 1:30. With my titanium status, they are supposed to allow for late checkouts up to 4 pm. I am still in shock over what happened, and when I went back to speak with the manager about it, I couldn't believe the hostility and disrespect. I have spent over 1,000 nights in Marriott hotels all over the country and never seen or heard of anything like this. My boys were terrified and hiding in the stairwell when my wife got back. Beware of staying and this hotel.
